Summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, a leading floral company is looking to hire a full-time Business Analyst in their Customer Knowledge Team. The business analyst will work closely with the Senior Manager of Customer Knowledge and focus on analyzing various marketing campaigns (direct mail, email, offer tests and contests, etc.) and compile lessons learned and recommended program changes to improve campaign efficiencies, which can be implemented to effect future campaigns.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

To work with the Business / Product Manager on the development of new Martha Stewart products those support the Martha Stewart for 1-800-Flowers.com brand strategy. This position interacts with all levels of the organization and requires excellent communication and presentation skills. In addition, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage projects, great attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft project), driving the development process focusing on revenue generation, gross margin management and achievement of EBITDA targets will be required. This candidate must also possess the ability to prioritize their workload on a daily basis. Creativity in thought process is a must. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Execution of strategies to execute sales and gross margin plans for the category that meet weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual requirements set forth by the company.

Responsibilities

Customer Bloomnet Account Manager
Location: Carle Place, NY

Status: Exempt
Immediate Supervisor: Director Bloomnet Customer Support

Primary Purpose and Function

In accordance with the established mission, policies and procedures of Bloomnet/1-800-FLOWERS.COM and/or specific instructions from the Director Bloomnet Customer Support the Account Manager is responsible for the management, development and coordination of Bloomnet "Premier" member florists. Revenue Projections must be met in accordance with the budgets set for the fiscal year.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the management, development and coordination of relationship and required revenue driven performance metrics in accordance with the distinction of a Premier Bloomnet member. Develops relationship, marketing objectives, and evaluates performance metrics to assigned member base. Manages and develops marketing programs and materials such as advertising, event support and online promotions for approximately 350 members. Must support budget attainment and consistent revenue development. Responsible for meeting outbound phone metrics on a daily basis. Meet and exceed revenue targets for product purchases and order allocation.

  • Ability to present direct and indirect benefits within all areas of Premier Florist membership via telesales model.
  • Responsible for managing entire scope of business relationship including all administrative, revenue driven objectives and retention.
  • Effectively communicate performance metrics managing out deficiencies.
  • Provides support to members to target and exceed results driven metrics during holiday and non-holiday times.
  • Incorporate all new incentive programs into your premier shops.
  • Manages core and seasonal product inventory including loyalty programs.
  • Works closely with Market Area Consultant and Regional Vice President to collectively achieve desired revenue results, technology and hard good sales in conjunction with meeting and exceeding customer service expectations.
  • Outbound calls will be measured to support relationship building metrics
  • Responsible for tracking all customer information within every account via contact management tool
  • Exhibits those actions of a leader with minimal supervision
  • Review reports and customer analysis to develop a full understanding of the wire service business
  • Follow up on all leads and culminate new membership opportunities.
  • Manages florist relationships through all phases of the membership
  • Customer Focused and results driven

Qualifications

BS/BA Degree preferred. Must have a minimum of 3 years Account Management, Sales or Business Development Candidate should possess strong people skills and strong customer focus. In addition, they should have strong business knowledge and the ability to develop business plans and strategies. Must have mastered utilization of entire MS Office application

Scheduling Requirements

Minimum 45 hour work week. M-F 9-6pm. Additional hours including weekends required during peak seasons. Travel required.

We are looking for a savvy marketer needed for unique opportunity to build new website launched by major e-commerce retailer. You'll be the third employee, leveraging a growing set of internal and external resources to build an audience for the website.

Responsibilities

  • Drive traffic to Celebrations.com
    • Responsible for overseeing Celebrations.com?s search engine optimization strategy, including keyword analysis and link aggregation.
    • Manage PPC / SEM budget and execution and work closely with content team to ensure on-site execution of strategy.
  • Email Marketing
    • Leverage the Celebrations.com database as well as the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM lists to drive users to the site.
  • Partnership marketing / content distribution
    • Manage existing and emerging partnerships, with a focus on content distribution relationships.

Qualifications

  • College degree, 4-6 years experience in online marketing required.

You will work with advertisers, partners, run our direct-to-consumer photo business, and most importantly develop new ways to generate revenue from this new web property. This position is a combination of business development (creating new opportunities) and product management (launching and managing new businesses already in the pipeline).

Responsibilities

  • Develop new revenue opportunities and partnerships.
    • Include but not limited to developing new partnerships and sponsors.
  • Manage direct-to-consumer photo business.
  • Manage party experience business.
    • Celebrations has partnered with an experiential gifting company to sell turnkey ?party packages,? i.e. private winery tour and dinner with winemaker.
  • Account management for existing sponsors.
    • Work with outsourced sales team to manage execution of sponsorship on site.
    • Responsible for increasing spending from existing advertisers.

Customer Service - Temporary Work from Home Opportunity

Summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM's customer service center, recent winner of the global call center of the year award, employs Work from Home Customer Service agents to provide professional, courteous, responsive and accurate service to our customers. Work from Home Customer Service Agents are able to work from the comfort and convenience of their home office. Customer Service Agents serve as the first contact customers have with the company. Customer Service Agents will be responsible for the effective and efficient handling of customer transactions in real time including, but not limited to: Working simultaneously with multiple software applications; Immediate/direct keyboarding into customer service information systems; Consistently following up on promises and commitments on a timely basis; Appropriately identifying and escalating unresolved issues.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will meet the following qualifications: Must be a resident and live in the following states: Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Ohio, New York, Texas and Virginia. Must be highly PC literate and have their own PC with a reliable high-speed Internet connection, and a dedicated land line telephone (conventional non-wireless telephone connection) for incoming calls. The ability to type 35 words per minute is essential. Prior call center experience strongly preferred. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED to apply. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Fundamental math skills required.

Scheduling Requirement

The nature of the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM workload is dependent upon the number of customers that are placing orders. We are seeking individuals who are able to work flexible Full Time schedules.

Rate of Pay

The rate of pay is $8 per hour for training and production.
