After returning from Iraq in 2006, I learned from my brother that my mother wasn’t the same after I left, bowed with continuous worry, he said. She attended religious services multiple times a week, unusual for her, praying for my safe arrival home. He said she, more than anyone else, was whom I should thank for her unwavering thoughts and prayers. I can never repay her for that love. What is your favorite flower or plant and why? The Magnolia flower.
What do you do at 1-800-Flowers and what do you like best about your job? Senior Associate, Digital Leadership Program; working closely with teammates on a new business challenges. I served in the U.S. Army from 2003-08, in the Army Reserves from 2009-12. In 2004 and 2006, I led platoons in Iraq. At 1-800-Flowers we’re all about creating truly original arrangements.
