1-800-Flowers | The Flower Express

As you know, at 1-800-FLOWERS.COM we live to deliver smiles, which is why we wanted to share this smile-worthy story from one of our special franchise flower shops! You may remember our story last year about 1-800-Flowers | The Flower Express owner Deborah Mohagen holding a ribbon-cutting and Grand Re-Opening Celebration to kick off her joining the 1-800-Flowers family. The primary focus of the Grand Re-Opening was to support the local Vancouver chapter of Share; a charity whose primary focus is to serve the hungry and homeless. Deborah offered up her shop as a drop-off location for hygiene items to be donated to the charity, and marketed the event by offering a special discount to those who donated. She also offered three tiers of their very own “Share the Love” Valentine’s Day Bundles (Silver, Gold, and Platinum), of which a percentage of proceeds were donated directly to Share. Since last year, the store was named Best in Business for 2013 by the Vancouver Business Journal. After resounding success from their previous event, 1-800-Flowers | The Flower Express will be hosting a Valentine’s Day open house this year to further support Share. Returning to the mix will be the “Share the Love” Bundles. In addition, the store has teamed up with other local businesses in the area to further support the cause. Congratulations Deborah, Jennifer and staff for helping to make this winter a little brighter for the hungry and homeless of Vancouver!
