Position Title: Assistant Manager, SAS Business Analytics

The Consumer Floral Brand's Florist Operations Team is responsible for ensuring that consumer orders that are placed for delivery through the company's network of florists are delivered on-time and with a degree of quality that meets or exceeds customer expectations. To this end, the Assistant Manager / Sr. Analyst will be responsible for the design, development and production of ad-hoc analyses and standing (daily, weekly, monthly) reports that are necessary to run the company's florist channel operations.
Additionally, through a partnership with the Assistant Manager of Florist Relations, the Assistant Manager / Sr. Analyst will be responsible for developing strategies necessary to support fulfillment initiatives across the florist network while maintaining a keen focus on how these initiatives can impact Fulfillment Capacity, Florist Performance, Product Performance, Hard good Penetration, Florist Payouts, Consumer Credits and much more
In order to accomplish these tasks, the candidate is required to be proficient in the development of SAS queries and the various database tables that store the elements to be queried and calculated. Query development (i.e. "coding") is required daily.
The Assistant Manager / Sr. Analyst is also responsible for identifying trends, issues or abnormalities in the data and escalating to the attention of leadership. Primary areas of focus include: Florist fulfillment performance, customer satisfaction metrics (CSIs), codified product penetration, product sell-through, florist inventory levels, product issues, fulfillment workload/queue metrics, and much more.
The Florist Operations Team's Data Entry Clerk will report into the Assistant Manager / Sr. Analyst.
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field required (mathematics/systems/business/engineering).
- Must have a very high degree of analytical, mathematical and empirical problem-solving skills.
- Must be skilled in data management, analytics and reporting.
- Proficiency with developing reports and analyses using SAS is a must.
- SAS Programming Proficiency a major plus
