Reporting Coordinator, Web Analytics
Location: Carle Place, NY
Position Type: Full-Time


The Reporting Coordinator, Web Analytics will play an integral role in providing actionable insights that inform our day-to-day e-commerce business.

The main responsibilities for the Reporting Coordinator will be to pull together reporting materials based on requirements. There will be tactical data gathering, site functionality reporting and data entry for High level visibility with upper management as well as tight collaboration with the online Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing teams on report creation.

Job Responsibilities

Specifically, the Reporting Coordinator, Web Analytics will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Senior Manager of Web Analytics with various reporting projects
  • Data entry to capture performance of website content placements.
  • Generating daily management reports and ensure data integrity
  • Configuring Coremetrics report views to meet Merchandising, Operational, and Website Marketing needs
  • Maintaining a schedule of functionality and site changes, marketing campaign launches to plan for upcoming reporting
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations for group meetings
  • Working with development team on tagging requests and tag change testing
In order for this individual to be successful, he/she must have/be:
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience
  • Passionate about details
  • Mathematics/ statistical background
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Troubleshooting skills and critical thinking ability
Experience not required, but nice to have:
  • Experience with PHP and JSON/XML feeds
  • Understanding of web analytics, site performance metrics, online marketing tactics
  • Experience in website page tagging and report development with web analytics and customer insight tools such as Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics, and Hitwise
  • A general understanding of web technologies including HTML, Flash, AJAX, CSS
