What's The Story?
February is the shortest month of the calendar year. According to legend, February originally had 29, not 28 days but Julius Caesar took one day from February and added it to August, the month named after him, to give it another day of celebration. Every four years, or Leap Years as they are now called, the month returns to having 29 days.
