My Christmas decorations make me smile. What is your favorite Christmas tradition to make for a truly traditional holiday? We always do a goofy Christmas card which includes our dog. Last year, we had holiday moustaches, the year before we all wore sock monkey hats. This year’s theme is elves! It is getting trickier since my son is a freshman in high school this year, and these pictures are not “cool” in the teenage sense.
1800Flowers is all about holiday decorations. Tell us about your Christmas decorations. Besides all the trees, we have a lot of outdoor decorations.
We live in a neighborhood with 600 homes and people really decorate up a storm. My husband decks out the big tree in the front of the house and we have a lot of light-up Peanuts® figures lining the house. (I love Snoopy!)
Tell us your favorite Christmas story from Christmas pasts My mom was really big into stockings. She would shop all year long and put away stuff in her bedroom closet. She knew what everyone’s favorite candy was, and interests were, and would buy each person things just for them. In the heyday, she was filling 20 stockings. She probably almost spent more on those stockings than on gifts. What is your favorite Christmas gift to receive and why? I don’t really like getting gifts. My husband usually picks out gifts I don’t like. Now I take pictures of things I want with my phone and then give them to my kids. My favorite 1800Flowers gift is the Christmas a-DOG-able®. That is just the greatest arrangement ever. It doesn’t even look like my dog and I still love it. From a baskets standpoint, I love our new Silver Sophistication Christmas gift basket. The design on the basket itself is amazing.
