It makes our job worthwhile and meaningful! What is your favorite 1800flowers product and why? I am a big fan of the Exotic Breeze orchids because they A) make you feel like you are on vacation b) last a really long time and C) always make people smile!
Seeing the smiles on their face really makes makes me feel great about what we do, even when we are delivering those flowers in a foot of snow! What is your favorite flower or plant and why? Orchid Plants are by far my favorite because they are so different than other varieties of plants while still being beautiful in their own way. I always send Orchid plants to my friends and family as it’s an out of the box way to make them smile and will grow back in a few months with a little bit of attention. One of 1800Flowers’ main missions is to deliver smiles. What makes you smile? Spending time with my friends and family and seeing them happy is always a guaranteed way to make me smile. Also, if the Mets would ever win a world series again, that would help too! 1800Flowers is a gifting company. What is your favorite gift to receive and/or give for Valentine’s Day? I have quite the sweet tooth so any item from Cheryl’s cookies, Fannie May Berries, Fruit Bouquets or the Popcorn Factory will be a sure fire way to win me over. Wine from Winetasting.com also pairs pretty well too, so I guess you can say I celebrate the whole catalog! What is the most valuable thing you have learned about flowers and plants during your time here? DON’T forget to change the water in your flowers every few days, it does wonders to help them last longer. Also, working at 1800 flowers always assures that I won’t forget to send flowers for the holidays! What is your favorite thing about Valentine’s Day? On Valentine’s Day I usually get to work with our local florist’s and hand deliver flowers to lucky recipients around town.
