Meet Brad Franklin, Manager for Website Marketing

What is your title and what do you do at 1-800-Flowers? I am the Manager for Website Marketing, and have been with the company for a little over two years. I am a people person, and I love that I get to work closely with a lot of departments in our company to figure out ways to showcase our products and improve the customer experience on the website.Brad-kerri-and-lulu-with-dog-a-ble-product Our Christmas motto is to “celebrate Christmas with a smile!” What about Christmas makes you smile? Christmas is a great time of year! I love that I’m able to get together with family members that I see less often. As fun as it is to open presents, the time spent with family is something that can’t be replaced and reminds me how truly blessed I am.
Each year I sing in Christmas concerts at my church, and that gets me excited for the season
What is your favorite Christmas tradition to make for a truly traditional holiday? Each year I sing in Christmas concerts at my church, and that gets me excited for the season. One of my other favorite (newer) traditions is decorating the tree with my wife. We make popcorn and drink hot chocolate while listening to Christmas music, and that is always a lot of fun. Every year, we spend Christmas Eve at my Aunt and Uncle’s house, and that has always been a special time spent with loved ones. 1800Flowers is all about holiday decorations. Tell us about your Christmas decorations. This is the first year that we decorated our house with lights! It looks awesome, and has been nice to come home to in the evening. We always hang a wreath on our front door, and my wife puts up a lot of decorations inside as well. One-dog-open-sleigh-103579Tell us your favorite Christmas story from Christmas pasts. My uncle always dressed as Santa for the kids on Christmas Eve. I remember being a kid and how excited I was that Santa came to visit us before going out to deliver all the presents. What is your favorite Christmas gift to receive? My favorite Christmas present is something that reminds me how blessed I am to have such a great family and friends. I love the a-DOG-able® Collection, because it always reminds me of my bulldog, Lulu, and how much she makes my wife and I smile on a daily basis.
